Linjebygg is utilizing conventional NDT methods from the highest points on the installation and down to the splash zone. By use of rope access technique (RAT) the work is done fast, safe and cost effective. Our highly qualified operators are multiskilled and thus can be utilized for other tasks when needed.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

All our operators are certified according to NS-EN ISO 9712/Nordtest for NDT and NS 9600/SOFT for rope access technique. We offer operators with NS477 certificate and NS415 certificate.

  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)
  • Radiography Testing (RT)/Digital Radiography
  • Positive Material Identification (PMI)
  • Eddy Current Testing (ET)

 

PAUT (Phased Array) is used for corrosion scanning and is a good method in addition to normal ultrasonic testing. The method does not involve radiation and therefore barrier control is less needed.
